PPROM Survivors: Jackson & Owen

@ Valour Foundation

"My advice would be, take any help offered.. nicu life is hard! Take it Day by day! There will be many downs but you have to find victories in the small stuff! My twins were conceived via iui after struggling with infertility, so needless to say we were over the moon to find out we were pregnant! I had a very healthy pregnancy, no morning sickness.. nothin up until 21 weeks pregnant, my world got flipped upside down when I lost my plug and discovered I was 3cm dilated, long story short we successfully made it to viability while on bedrest and pelvic rest! I had ruptured during an emergency cerclage placement so making it to viability was huge! My little men entered the world sweetest day 2016 at 12:30 and 12:32 via emergency c section weighing 1lb 4oz and 1lb 5oz.. they will be 3 in October!" - Amber Heareth
