PPROM Survivor: Beau

@ Valour Foundation

"After many complications during my pregnancy my water broke at 25 weeks. I was on hospital bedrest until I delivered Beau at 30 weeks. He was born weighing 2 pds 3 oz and 14 inches long. He spent 70 days in the Nicu. Today he is a happy, healthy, rambunctious 2 year old!!My advice would be to take everything day by day. Nicu life is terrifying but preemie babies are amazing. Let people help you! It’s emotionally and physically exhausting having a baby in the Nicu. When others offer help let them help you! Most importantly, don’t lose faith! There will be highs and lows but these babies are so special and absolutely worth it!!" - Bobby-Terrina Hendry
