PPROM Survivor: Kingston Kole

" January 30 my water broke during 6th period. I reported straight to the hospital to be notified that I’d wouldn’t be going home until delivery. I was moved to L&D and spent 24 hours in mag. (horrible). At 34 weeks he was delivered via c-section. After 51 days in the hospital I was released. My son was in the NICU for feedings. While this was a tough time for us, I was happy it was only for feedings! Baby Kingston fought long and hard. 15 days later we were all finally home. None of this journey was possible without family and my boyfriend constantly reassuring me. My advice to any mama going through the same thing is to cry it out when you feel the need to stay and stay pregnant!!!" - Angelica Shayne Roberson
